Annemarie Sonnenberg, new Senior Consultant at COOLProfs

Oude Wetering, 28 February 2010 -  COOLProfs, development and hosting specialist of custom software to facilitate core business processes, has employed Annemarie Sonnenberg (40) as a senior consultant.

Sonnenberg has already built a substantial career in the IT world. She comes from OutSystems, provider of the outsystems agile platform and partner to COOLProfs, where she was project manager. Before that, at Nuon, she fulfilled a similar role. Her career as a software developer was begun at AT&T. A career which she continued at Lucent Technologies, which was spun off from AT&T, now Alcatel-Lucent. Here she worked as a senior software developer and technical manager, at a later stage.

COOLProfs mainly develops administrative systems. Systems which facilitate to the core business processes of companies and organizations. Among those companies are clients such as Schuitema, ABN AMRO and TNT. Eric ten Harkel, director of COOLProfs about the appointment of Sonnenberg: "OutSystems operates primarily through partners. We have been such a partner from the very beginning. Her position at Outsystems has given Annemarie ample experience with the platform. This experience will connect well with our desire to do more projects through the Outsystems agile methodology"

Sonnenberg herself is also happy about the switch; "OutSystems has been keeping fewer and fewer projects for itself, outsourcing most of them to partners.  Doing projects, especially custom projects like COOLProfs does, is exactly what I like to do. The fact that the work environment at COOLProfs is relatively informal, suits me very well.

Sonnenberg will be the leading projects as well as being involved in the customer requirements process  where needs and budget plans are defined. Sonnenberg: "OutSystems has recently released version 5 of their platform, with many new features in the area of business process modeling. I will certainly be investing time and attention to master the  new functionality. "
